The Leaning Tower of Coca-Cola
Taking inspiration from Andy Warhol’s famous Campbell’s Soup cans pop art, the simple usage of a literal pop can reflects the concept of the center of mass. As one drinks the soda out of a standard aluminum can, the center of mass shifts from the center of the can to the base of the can which is a decrease in height. The can is most stable when its center of gravity is on the surface of the liquid, hence when placed at an angle, the can remains balanced. When the can is empty, the center of mass will return to its original center of mass.
